SPF Safety provides asbestos training for professionals who may encounter asbestos-containing materials during renovation, demolition, maintenance, or environmental work. Our courses are designed to meet federal regulatory requirements while emphasizing practical, real-world application in the field.
Asbestos training prepares workers to safely identify asbestos-containing materials (ACM), understand associated health risks, and follow proper work practices to minimize exposure. Training includes classroom instruction and hands-on components focused on safety, compliance, and worker protection.

This 2-hour Course is intended for employees who may encounter asbestos but do not perform disturbance or removal activities.
Covers:
Basic asbestos identification
Information regarding asbestos and its various uses and forms.
Information on the health effects associated with asbestos exposure.
Locations of ACBM identified throughout each building in which they work (must be provided by the employer).
Recognition of damage, deterioration, and delamination of ACBM.

This 16-hour 2-day Course is intended for employees who conduct any activities that will result in the disturbance of ACBM.
Covers:
Basic asbestos identification
